About

I started as a camera assistant on Portuguese features and spent six years loading film before I shot my own. I still prefer small crews, natural light and a director who wants to talk about the story before the lenses.

Half my work is documentary, often on Super 16. The other half is music videos and commercials where I get to break the rules I learned on the first half.
